Personal, Quality Veterinary Care
Tim has wanted to be a vet since he was six. He started helping his local vets in Cape Town when he was about 14, cleaning kennels, making coffee(!) and accompanying the vets on visits. Always passionate about animals, he became a vet himself in 1984.
He joined Park Vets in 1996. Clair, his wife who in a previous life was an engineer, then studied business management and joined him in 2005 as practice manager, to realise their vision of a family-run practice, offering clinical excellence and outstanding customer service.
Because we are a family-run practice, we can choose exactly how and with whom we work. Our loyalty is entirely to our patients, clients and staff, without having to worry about shareholders or big company bosses. This independence is extremely important to us, and helps us to deliver the personal service on which we pride ourselves.
We see ourselves as part of a team - made up of you, your pet, and our vets, nurses, and receptionists. We will explain all problems and options to you in as much detail as you would like. We will involve you fully in the decision making process. We believe in open dealings with no hidden costs. Above all, we will give you our time.
Because we're a small practice, you can generally see the same vet or nurse every time you visit us if you wish, giving that personal touch - just ask if you would like to see a particular vet or nurse when you book your appointment.
We often involve others such as physiotherapists, hydrotherapists, and acupuncturists, all dedicated to keeping your pet as healthy and happy as possible, for as long as possible.
There has been a Veterinary Surgery here for over forty years, serving the people of Raynes Park, Wimbledon, New Malden, Kingston and surrounding areas. Take a tour of our facilities to see "behind the scenes", or better still, give us a call so we can arrange to show you around our Raynes Park practice in person and you can see our facilities for yourself.
We are delighted to have been nominated for the prestigious Petplan "Vet Practice of the Year" award for several years in a row - and in 2015 we added Best Vet and Best Veterinary nurse to the list!
We are fully accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. In fact, at our last RCVS inspection we were told by the inspector that Park Vets' inspection was the best he had ever conducted!
